About the Artist
Annette Gurdo is a well known artist in Central New York. She has been actively working and exhibiting her work in the area for over 20 years. Gurdo has done numerous private commisions, and her work is included in private collections throughout the Northeast. Born and raised near Utica, NY, Gurdo recieved an Associate Degree in Fine Arts from MVCC/ Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute. She continued her studies at the Philadelphia College of Art, where she completed a BFA in Drawing & Painting. Gurdo currently resides in upstate New York, and has been an Adjunct Instructor at MWPAI School of Art since 1994.
